Areas that have been disturbed by forest fires and floods are the favorite growing grounds of the delicious, honeycombed morel mushroom. Unlike the false morel, the true morel's cap is connected to the stem.

Dried morel mushrooms take on a smoky flavor and adds richness to any dish. One of our favorite ways to use them is in a sour cream stroganoff sauce and pouring over noodles or rice.

We search for the best premium quality morel mushrooms and make them available for your kitchen all year long in this bulk sized package.

    Awesome taste

We found it at WholeFoods and hesitated to buy because of the price. We decided to give it a try and were very surprised by the texture and taste in a simple veggie soup (with just a few simple ingredients: morels, potato, buckwheat, carrots, onion, 20 minutes, added yogurt and garlic when served). All the process took only 20 min. We started to boil water with morels and added other ingredients as we cut them. I believe it will be tasty with pasta and potato dishes as well ans as a souse for meats. We did not cut morels, small morels have great look and taste.
